30 years ago today.

I was 40 years old and in the Kop, one of the best games I've seen at Anfield in 60 years. My lad was on a school trip to Disneyland in Paris and has never forgiven me for making him go and miss the match🫣🤣

Was there that night in the lower Centenary (as was). One of the great moments of many great moments the old ground has seen.

can you imagine, one left foot shot, of a season when we had a banger jersey but not winning the league, is the one moment that would exemplify your whole footballing career. similar to miller against arsenal. that's the liverpool we know and glad your one us, stan.

I was 13 when this happened such an amazing game did a klinsmann in the lounge when you scored Stan thanks for the memories!

I remember watching this with housemates - the Liverpool fan was furious when Newcastle went 3-2 up and a friend's girlfriend said 'why are you getting so angry it's only a game' 😂. He got up, left without saying a word, then heard him go apeshit when you scored the 4th 🤣😂🤣

The day after my sister was born (celebrated her 30th yesterday, times flies). Was right in that Annie Rd no more than a few rows up and about 5/6 seats away from the dividing section. Even at aged 9 I knew I'd witnessed a cracker. That Macateer assist for the 3rd...sublime.👍

I was in the Kop, right behind the goal that night, the best game I've seen live. I didn't at any point think we were going to win!
