One the the most incredible sports events of all time. It doesn’t get enough recognition.

I watched this live.

A real no-hitter, not a combined one.

Abby's no no! What a game that was. I covered Jim Abbott for TV from his time at Flint Central HS into his college days at Michigan. Always a great inspiration to all and a terrific guy. I went to his UM jersey retirement in Ann Arbor at Ray Fisher Stadium in 2009.

Guys with one hand used to throw no hitters. Now it takes three pitchers to throw a no hitter and everyone gets excited. Weak and sad.

31 years, wow. I am old

Last night the Cubs needed 3 pitchers to combine for a no-hitter yet here is Abbott throwing one single-handedly.

How can it be that long ago. Turning 47 is depressing

And everyone was like, oh yeah, he really does have only one hand. He was so fluid and effortless in catching then throwing you could swear he had two.
