New year but same murderous Kenya police. Last night in Utange, Mombasa, around 1am just after ushering in the new year, 14 year old Dennis Ringa was shot and killed by police. According to eye witnesses, Dennis was among others who were playing with fireworks when police showed up and started chasing them away. The police proceeded to open fire and killed Dennis. Absolutely needless loss of a very young life who was actually awaiting for his grade 6 KPSEA results.
