@ylecun it's the first time using neural networks but definitely not the first time doing digit recognition. That was around way before that

@ylecun It reminds me of that holographic, hand-controlled technology Elon Musk demonstrated in an interview 15 years ago. The kind of innovation that feels like it’s just months away from becoming mainstream, yet somehow ends up taking decades to materialize.
