32 years ago ⏪ Who was there? 🙋‍♂️

What’s that lads name, was it Rob Matthew’s, signed from a university or something?

Me ✋🏼

Me 🙋‍♀️

Mathews was brilliant that day. I’m sure they had about the same number of fans as us at the game. Not tomorrow though, COYP

I still maintain we would have gone up this season had the ref not robbed us v Wolves in April with that shocking handball penalty call at 0-0 against Shaun Murphy after ignoring an absolutely blatant one by Paul Cook just moments earlier

I had Gary mcswegan as my neighbour when I lived in mapperly, I was only 19 and was always to starstruck to say hello!

Yes , another terrific performance in that season . Rob Matthew’s oft forgotten great on that and a lot of days .

I remember it well awesome game but tomorrow is going to be a different kettle of fish half an half fans nearly that year but tomorrow 2,100 Leicester and 15,000+ Notts County fans and be sure Pato will have the lads up for this game tomorrow COYP 🖤🤍

Me, family stand, 12 years old, Rob Matthews finest hour

Be 4-1 Notts tomorrow.

Sitting in the Family Stand just behind the goal. Good times (Should've gone up that season)

Yep. Can't believe it's been 32 years. Some side we had then, such a shame RM did his knee. Strong, pacey, direct, would shoot on sight, an 'old-fashioned' CF even back then. Beating Forest, Leicester and Derby (deservedly too) all in one season was some feeling.

🙋‍♂️

Rob Matthews looks insane on these highlights

Rob Matthews, what a player he was

I was

@847HereIGoAgain 🙆‍♂️

My Husband was sat in sirrel

If I remember rightly, I think there was unofficially more of their fans than us 💀 they had fans dotted everywhere- oh well, turned up for nowt 😎

Yep 👍

I was behind the goal in the family stand that day! Great times 🖤🤍

Great day Great season best football I've seen from a notts team. RIP 🙏 mick walker
