Farmers in Denmark are mandated to feed the additive Bovaer to their cows, or face steep fines and/or prison. Bovaer is a food additive designed to reduce methane production in cows. The farmer said: "We started in the beginning of October with a low doses, and we raised it up till the full doses around the 20th of October, a little bit before. ALERT: Police use patrol cars and caution tape to set up barricades to corner cows on the loose in Phoenix, AZ, before ranchers eventually saved the day and lassoed them in. Phoenix police responded to a call about multiple cows running around a residential neighborhood. Using their patrol cars, they created a blockade to keep them from getting to busy streets. After seeing a town of people in South Africa in desperate need for assistance with food---and for becoming self-sustaining, 30 cows were graciously donated to them, along with instructions on how to raise the herd. They were told to use the cows for daily milk and cheese, along with breeding for future needs and for some income. After a few hours, all 30 cows were slaughtered and barbequed, the same day the livestock was gifted. When Mr. Steenhuisen returned and asked, where are the cows?, villagers replied, we know what you told us, but we wanted to eat them anyway.
