@threejs @NeedleTools Getting that kind of reduction without the lighting turning to mush is the bit that stands out, good stuff

@threejs @NeedleTools nice! being able to do this in a browser opens a lot of new possibilities

@threejs @NeedleTools This is great! Will we able to run this locally?

@threejs @NeedleTools Yes, it runs client-side in the browser 😄

@threejs @NeedleTools this is so sick

@threejs @NeedleTools nice! I see "voxel remesh" - can you control the simplification algo a-la InstaLoD/Simplygon/Meshlab (which I imagine is the inspiration here)?

@threejs @NeedleTools Yep, there's more options for "voxel remesh", though I do find the defaults work "almost always" And there's good ol' simplify per part We have smarter things on the roadmap there (e.g. voxelize when there's multiple objects with their own animations involved and so on)

@threejs @NeedleTools but wtf is that topology?

@threejs @NeedleTools Can already do this in Houdini.

@threejs @NeedleTools Sure! And to some extent in Nomad, Blender, Substance, and others. But in one click / 3 seconds?
