There are giant holes at both of the Earth's polar regions. If this "energy source" is at, or near the giant hole at the Antarctic, my unified field theory has proposed it is where the Earth's magnetic lines of force, invisible to sight, are grounded. I have posted aerial photos, which propose that contacts, or termination points, have been placed near the Antarctic hole, and that through this mechanism, the magnetic field lines are being utilized as an energy source. We are dependent on the Earth's magnetic field for protection, tapping into it, combined with other methodologies, like H.AA.R.P., which is shooting ULF into our ionosphere, and geoengineering, which is putting metals into the atmosphere, causing it to be more conductive when there are coronal mass ejection events, is being utilized for military purposes, are depleting our magnetosphere, and atmospheric energy, causing the Antarctic to become a hotspot prematurely, at least twenty years prior to my prediction for a 2050 plasma phase (what Venus is presently undergoing, and Mars has already experienced.
