I was 18 years old and I will never forget the how they tried to destroy him, humiliate him, and tear him down but he would not give up and said "I'd rather die than withdraw". He spoke with controlled fury and nerves of steel. Justice Thomas is my favorite Justice

I remember that 'trial' well. My young teens, watched it too. This happened during their school break. They learned a lot from watching what was done. They've both said that this 'trial' was what impressed on them, their civic duty. They said 'Mom, these dogs should be caged'.
