Big robbery this fight Hearns won it by a mile hell it was that bad even Sugar Ray had to admit it (years later but still). Shame as well because it was an all time performance form Hearns which got overshadowed by the typical bias towards SRL from the judges

I’m willing to accept arguments that Leonard won the Hagler fight. This one, though? This is one where “It wasn’t even close” definitely applies. Hearns won and was robbed.

Ray said in a doc years later that Hearns beat him.

How Leonard secured a draw with no knockdowns, and even the couple of rounds he had Hearns in real trouble, you can argue maybe a 10-8 round in one, is beyond me. Hearns established the pace and had not one, but two knockdowns. He should have had his victory.
