36 years ago today, The Flash premiered on CBS.

Loved that show!

I have the complete series on DVD

Why does the intro go so hard? Danny Elfman right?

A real underdog series. Absolutely iconic. So glad they did him justice in the CW Crisis event.

Before Grant Gustin, there was John Wesley Shipp.

Imo, a show ahead of it's time. A show that not only had the best looking Flash costume ever, but one of the best Barry Allen portrayals.

as far as I'm concerned, this takes place in the same universe as Batman. What a Justice League that could have made!

This was literally tbe show I grew up with 🫡 after this show the would run knight rider then Viper . I was tbe happiest kid on earth

Danny Elfman composed the theme

Underrated Elfman theme

I love JWS!

I have The Flash on Blu-Ray

I loved that series and glad this Flash came back during the Grant Gustin run.

God, I love the show. Still do. It was so special to watch that pilot. First came Batman 89 and then this a little over a year later, as a DC kid it was a great time!

I loved watching it on TV

Coincidentally, John Wesley Shipp did reprise this Flash in the Arrowverse crossovers "Elseworlds" and "Crisis on Infinite Earths". Some actors from this show appeared as different characters in "The Flash" with @MarkHamill reprising the original Trickster.

Danny Elfman cooked with this one!!!!!

Before Smallville and the Arrowverse

VCR was set

I love Danny Elfman.

Anyone know where I can watch this?

Watch where though? Mainly the latest Flash tv seriers version keeps popping up.

Wow I really enjoyed it

Suit was peak. Don't care, loved it then and still love it now.

sounds like a batman theme sound

Memories

This Flash was aweson

And just where the he'll is our flash 90 batman 89 teamup?? Only makes sense. Even the theme lines up
