I work for my cities water and utility department. EVERY new pipe we inspect with a camera has debris in it.

Thanks, I am adding sewer camera inspection to the list of things a private home inspector should look for when I plan to buy a home.

See this all the time. What shocks me is when we or someone else does a camera they come across problems and the people still will buy the house without fixing what we found. Then are shocked when it clogs and needs fixed. 😆

You get what you pay for, or what the contractor pays for. Illegal and migrant workers often end up costing tens of thousands of dollars in repair work to fix for the new homeowner

One time I was working with another plumber and he sawed right through our ridgit cam trying to cut a 4” pvc line out.
