39 years ago today, The Real Ghostbusters premiered.

I always loved the fact that Bill Murray originally played Venkmen in Ghostbusters live action and Lorenzo Music was the voice of Peter Venkmen in the cartoon . Then, in Garfield and Friends Lorenzo Music voices Garfield and then Bill Murray was Garfield in the Live Action.

I liked the original

looks like it was animated by Japanese people i guess it was

I'm surprised they never made that white ghost in their sign an actual character. It looked like it could've been an allie.

Then it lead to this greatness

The series was a big hit because of the original GB was a surprise

I wanna go back. Such a better time.

Peak American Animation.

Although I haven't seen a single episode of The Real Ghostbusters, I've recently heard that Laura Summer was in that show as the voice of Janine Melnitz; Who would years later go voice Mimmy White in Hello Kitty's Paradise.

Then when Slimer took over the ratings dropped

Bustin' makes me feel good.

This Theme Song was Great!

@lad_scotty_1990

Didn't this show inspire Danny Phantom to some extent? 🤔

Ha one of my all time favorite shows!

Amazing cartoon

I love how you can totally tell which shots were handled by a TMS animator.

@NativeBrony_91 Ghostbusters has ven one of my favorite movies of all time! Including the cartoon series^^👻🚫

Started watching with my 4 year old this week.

I still have my Slimmer toy!

Did we ever find out who that ghost is?

My shit..

The Boogyman episode was the best one!

It was my grand entery to the world of Ghostbusters before I even heard of the live movie it was based on. Also, I enjoy Extreme Ghostbusters as well

@PabloTorre @pablofindsout Pablo, you sir are on an ABSOLUTE HEATER! @AndreiCherny @LAClippers @mcuban Perhaps, let try the truth fellas......

🔥🔥🔥🔥

I'm definitely gonna call Ghostbusters!

WB Animation really needs to make another crossover movie of Scooby-Doo and the gang meeting THEM!!!😁

I still have some figures from this show

This would’ve been peak if I got to grow up in the 80s
