Since I’ve started my journey on social media I’ve had to confront a lot of things about myself and my life, the most difficult ones of all being my trauma and my addictions I was using to cope with that trauma. This year I got serious about recovery and so I’ve really had to face the darkest parts of myself and accept them and learn how to live with myself without turning to temporary comforts to avoid the pain. I made this video as an artistic representation of that journey and how I’ve been coming to terms with myself. It’s not easy and it’s still something that I have to choose every day. I’ve felt like giving up so many times over my lifetime but I know that it’s worth it, because I’ve fought so hard to come this far, and because I know that facing my darkness effects all of you for better or for worse, and I want my impact on the world to be a positive one. You all inspire me every day to keep fighting, keep growing, and to never stop believing in myself. I continue to share my progress in my recovery after this massive stroke and the coma and pneumonia that kept me in the hospital for over three months in the beginning of the year I hope that by sharing my experience strength and hope, I can help others who’ve been through something similar. That you are not alone!!! I admit it is an absolute miracle that I am here with you. So I am smiling and willing to do whatever it takes to improve my health. And As in every day I have to thank you for the prayers and support that helped carry me through and this far.

30 years ago I started a journey. Not one scholarship offer. The reason? I was deemed too slow. That day I DECIDED nothing would stop me. I found my trainer Jay Schroeder and started an unorthodox training program that tested me physically, emotionally, and psychologically to level I could have never imagined. I lived by the mantra that: Your will to PREPARE for success had to be far greater than your desire for success. I went all in, committed my heart and soul, and 5 years later - 25 years ago - I had my chance to show the NFL how far I’d come. Here the video from my pro day: 40 YD - 4.37 Short Shuttle - 3.83 3 Cone - 6.37 Long Shuttle - 10.77 Pedal Flip - 4.11 I also benched 225 lbs 31x , vertical jumped 39.5", broad jumped 10'10" I literally transformed myself from a nobody to one of the best in the world in 5 years. I post this not to brag but as a reminder. BELIEF is powerful. Don't ever allow or entertain anybody's judgment or narrative about you, even for a microsecond. DOUBLE DOWN on yourself and always put it all on your shoulders. Have immense GRATITUDE for what God has put in front of you. Looking back, I’m grateful I didn’t earn a scholarship, that I had to walk on, that I had to fight and sacrifice to a level I never thought possible... First, I would like to thank god for blessing me with the opportunities that have been given to me. Through these opportunities I have gotten to learn and grow as a man. Thank you to coach Drinkwitz for giving me the opportunity to play football at the University of Missouri. I would like to thank coach Russell and the entire strength staff for pushing me mentally and physically everyday to make myself a better athlete and man. Thank you to all of the coaches that I’ve gotten the opportunity to work with and learn from over the past 3 years. I would like to thank the entire academic department for helping me reach my goals academically while at Mizzou. Finally, I would like to thank all of the teammates that I have played with over my time at Mizzou. I have made connections, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime and I am sincerely grateful for all of them. With that being said, I am officially entering my name into the transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility.

In 2009, after two back surgeries, my doctors told me I would never walk again without the assistance of a cane or walker. I gave up. l wrote out my suicide note and was ready to end it all. But, in that moment, my three-year-old son Matthew walked into my bedroom and saved my life. I truly believe it was an intervention from God. After that moment, I cried out to God and told him that if he showed me the way, I would put in the hard work to dig myself out of that bed and dig my family out of poverty. My mindset changed. I used to see myself as a victim. I would ask myself "Why me?" After that moment, I started to tell myself "Why not me?" I worked hard to overcome the obstacles I faced in my life and I will work even harder to become the first black Republican elected to Congress in the history of Ohio.

I am beyond heart broken to hear the news that a game that I love so much is shutting down. I did whatever I could to support the devs and promote the game. Without a doubt, this was easily the most fun I have ever had. Thank you to Mountaintop Studios and Nate Mitchell for supporting my streaming journey and helping me see numbers I have never seen in my entire life. I am not sure what's next, this dream of going pro is something I have been chasing and I hope that it will happen one day.

2024 - I counted over 150 bookings, which is more than 2023 shows - the year I officially started my journey🥹 This means so much to me, showing me that there’s growth in what I’m doing. That includes bookings in multiple provinces across the country and more international shows 🌎🔝 I achieved so much thank you to all your support. People who helped me through my journey, I didn’t do this alone. My manager, the promoters, friends and family, my followers y’all are besties and everyone who believed in me. Thank you for your patience and well wishes! ❤️❤️‍🔥 I look forward to achieving a lot more with your support, I still have so much work to do, plans to make. Sometimes it’s not about the number of shows I’ve done (sumtimez it izz) but I’ve experienced so much growth in personal and skills wise, more passport stamps, more memories, more work relationships, major collaborations and media work, officially began my journey into the music industry, more milestones and your girl got thicccc 🤝🏼 I’ve never been on a cruise ship before and the first time I go, I was booked to play for 3 nights!!! 🛳️❤️‍🔥 How can I forget that I was an a FACE of a campaign!! 🩷🥹 I’m heavily thankful! ❤️🥹 The highs were highs and the lows were low.
