3-D printing house for $11K! #CES #CES2024

Not going to last very long. That's basically mud used for block or brick work not a sturdy concrete mix. You can already see the cracks all through it. A slab pour would work much better & probably cheaper

If $11k is cheaper than concrete blocks and a team of Mexicans, which I doubt.. the exterior walls are still a very minor part of the cost of a house.

I thought these houses were tested and deemed to not have enough structural integrity? Also I could definitely see why having worked in concrete before, that concrete needs to be mixed better and vibrated because it’s gonna be too crumbly
