🚨 3I/ATLAS: The Colossus from Interstellar Space Dr. Avi Loeb confirms new data shows this object is at least 33 billion tons, over 100,000 times more massive than Oumuamua. I wonder what it would take to raise the level to "5"? Avi has had it at "4" from basically the beginning. Since, we've learned about the nickel/iron anomaly and the confirming data showing its enormous size plus the apparent resistance to gravitational forces and green color

Even if it's an alien craft, it's just passing through. If it's aliens, they don't care about earth. It'll pass at 1,8 AU from us at minimum distance. It's a very long distance.

So the size of it is 5km to 46km across and they will take a photo with 30 km resolution per pixel, so it will be 1-2 pixels on the photo. Does that seem a bit low resolution for this? Should they try to get a better camera pointed at it?

I am pretty sure this is a massive alien craft that will impact the earth initiating a geophysical event where 90 percent of the earth's population will be lost. The only survivors will be those that had access to underground bunkers. Once the dust settles the survivors will emerge to recreate a new civilization. Unfortunately at the very same time the crashed craft cargo door will spring open and hoards of large beetle like alien creatures will emerge and exterminate the remaining survivors. That is how this ends and don't argue with me.

If it was a generational ship, beetle creatures would be the least of my worries. If they were anything humans, and had been traveling through space for generations... Can you imagine the kind of crazy that would emerge? Beetles any day of the week, I'm a good shot.

I guess it wouldn't surprise me if aliens were to come in a ship that looked like an asteroid or something similar. It would be the equivalent of interstellar camouflage. Why invest in some Star Trek-like cloaking advice, when it's far easier to pack some minerals around the ship and just sail on through?

Is it decelerating yet. That would be the evidence you need to support the notion that it is a craft of some kind. The sunward tail could be a propulsion plume and it would form a corona as the gasses from the propulsion system slow faster in the solar wind than the ship does.
