@blocks In case you're wondering what this produced, it's gorgeous <3

@NousResearch @blocks This is awesome, I actually do this in Discord with multiple hermes instances! Now I understand what Buzz is all about, took me a minute... going to have to try this considering it wont have the oddities of Discord baked in.

@NousResearch @blocks It is nearly effortless! I was taken aback by how well they coordinate 😍

so far so good <3

@NousResearch @blocks 👀👀

@NousResearch @blocks this is very, very cool. the implications for local model teams....

@NousResearch @blocks Where can I get this? Buzz already downloaded and running, just need Hermes

@NousResearch @blocks I have a fork I'm using, it should be official soon though <3

@NousResearch @blocks and here it is <3

@NousResearch @blocks This is very cool!

@NousResearch @blocks This will open up AI use to sooooo many people. Love that will include local models. Great product all around <3

@NousResearch @blocks Why do we need both Hermes AND Buzz?

@NousResearch @blocks Hermes allows you to use any/all available models and tools that you’d use regularly, just thru an interface that allows easy orchestration of multiple agents simultaneously 🔥

@NousResearch @blocks Are these same profiles in Hermes? If so they share the same agent memory? What is the benefit here?

@NousResearch @blocks They are not! Different models, working together thru the Hermes infrastructure

@NousResearch @blocks Ok. So different models / session ids in the same profile? I assume can also have agents mapped to different profiles? This would be a proper use case for me. Look forward to the release.

@NousResearch @blocks precisely, any openai endpoint! this means local models too :)

@NousResearch @blocks How does it compare to lobehub?

@NousResearch @blocks haven't tried this one! it has a very "agent first slack" vibe if that helps!

@NousResearch @blocks Hope this will be official soon

@NousResearch @blocks I have a suspicion it will be 😎

@NousResearch @blocks Are they on sepparate boxes or did you figure out how to add profiles as agents to buzz?

@NousResearch @blocks same box, different agents <3

@NousResearch @blocks Nice

@NousResearch @blocks There's very little I can't do from chat interface now. This AM i'm editing @CustomerIO emails via chat in @typedotcom

@NousResearch @blocks Will install this asap

@NousResearch @blocks you won't be disappointed :)

@NousResearch @blocks how do you integrate the hermes agents into buzz? is there any settings or you made the bridge yourself?

@NousResearch @blocks had to make a fork, i'll post it in a moment :)

@NousResearch @blocks oh really? I thought it was already there I had an issue trying out @raft_hq because it was a chaos, could get hermes agent into it but! it causes such chaos internally with memory in @honchodotdev and between agents, it was a mess literally haha

@NousResearch @blocks @raft_hq @honchodotdev <3

@NousResearch @blocks @raft_hq @honchodotdev but wait, should i use that fork or are we gonna get hermes connection in the future for the original repo?

@NousResearch @blocks @raft_hq @honchodotdev if you want it now, the fork. a couple days? wait for the official ;)

@NousResearch @blocks how do you add remote Hermes agents on headless machines to buzz though? had to use cli to do this and the agents don't show up in the desktop app under the agents tab

"No orchestration" is the headline, and it's the right ambition. What's really happening is the shared channel is absorbing the work a framework used to do - ordering, passing context, handoffs. The real test is disagreement: three agents on one request is easy while they agree what it means, and the interesting part starts the second they don't. We've been building for exactly that with coding agents:

@NousResearch @blocks Are you using a particular fork?

@NousResearch @blocks Yes! Rumor has it this will be native in the next few days 😁

@NousResearch @blocks I’ll be patiently waiting

@NousResearch @blocks <3

@NousResearch @blocks Curious: how is this different from spinning up multiple Hermes agents directly in Slack?

@NousResearch @blocks the coordination is insane, it's basically effortless 😀

@NousResearch @blocks besides the cool factor, how is this better than working w one hermes agent?

@NousResearch @blocks I think it’s moreso an upgrade to anyone who’s orchestrating multiple in parallel, keeps everything in one spot 😁

@NousResearch @blocks I've built a complex memory system to be able to do something similar with Hermes, Claude code and codex. But I would love to have an alternative that would be simpler to test against it.

@NousResearch @blocks That's so dope! I'm gonna be joining you on this buzz train here real soon. Shits complicated now cause I'm AFK recovering from surgery lol but I'm watching this shit close lmao

@NousResearch @blocks I’d expect Buzz gets a big update in the coming days. Wishing you the best with your recovery! Should be a nice update for you when you’re back at it ❤️

@NousResearch @blocks Keep dropping dope videos on it in the meantime so I can get some ideas 😂

@NousResearch @blocks They’re about to get crazy, definitely putting my locals in here 🤓

@NousResearch @blocks finally! 😍

@NousResearch @blocks finally agents that don't need a whole engineering degree to cooperate

@NousResearch @blocks I don't any difference with just using mattermost with hermes 🤷♂️

@NousResearch @blocks How did you integrated them in buzz?

@NousResearch @blocks Ummm wen can I have?

@NousResearch @blocks unofficially, now ;) official support otw

@NousResearch @blocks

@NousResearch @blocks

@NousResearch @blocks Can you tell him to tell him to tell him to tell me about something

@NousResearch @blocks Three agents collaborating without a complex graph is a good test of whether orchestration is doing real work. The missing proof is conflict handling: when two agents touch the same state, who owns the correction? Did Blocks Buzz record that boundary?

@NousResearch @blocks how did you get hermes working? i had to build a custom transport layer

@NousResearch @blocks Please tell me this is easy to set up with Hermes.

@NousResearch @blocks The real test starts when two agents change the plan or shared state at the same time. Does Blocks keep an auditable handoff and rollback history, or is the coordination mostly conversational?

@NousResearch @blocks docs say it maintains logs, haven't gotten that deep yet! trying to finish up integrations :)

@NousResearch @blocks Do you use oauth for Hermes or the API to the LLMs?

@NousResearch @blocks Has someone made this work with Hermes and Buzz both in VPS cloud on Hetzner ?

@NousResearch @blocks Three agents working together with no complex orchestration is exactly the goal 🤖

@NousResearch @blocks Are you self-hosting the relay? It’s all very new to me. Afraid to use the byo harness community branch because I’m afraid it will break everything 😅
