this is absolutely heartbreaking to watch 😔 The Germans were completely smashed millions dead, their country taken over by the most ruthless lot in history the Bolsheviks. You can really feel their helplessness, pain, and sorrow bloody devastating😣

The devastation goes beyond the buildings. Look at the ages of the males in the film, the ones who aren't soldiers. They're either very young or very old. The rest were killed in the war. That's why the women are doing the hard labor. They're the only ones left.
