This is redundant at this point. It's like reinventing the wheel with an octagonal shape. It's an overengineered step back.

Controlling iPhone X on 16.1.2 via api. I’m using this one for OpenClaw but a human can control the device. Maybe not a huge case for humans, but I did catch myself replying to a message on my phone without my hands leaving the keyboard.

🚨BREAKING: Huawei just launched an 18-inch laptop that folds down to 13 inches. It’s called the MateBook Fold. And it has no built-in keyboard. Not a gimmick. A signal. For decades, computers were designed around typing. Huawei just asked what happens when the keyboard is no longer the center of the device. What you get instead: A full 18.3” OLED display that folds like a book. Virtual keyboard built in. Bluetooth keyboard optional. Touch, AI, and voice doing the rest. The specs back it up: → 3.3K dual-layer OLED, 1600 nits → Kirin X90 chip, 32GB RAM → 1TB/2TB SSD, 74.7Wh battery → 1.16kg at 7.3mm thin when unfolded → HarmonyOS 5, Wi-Fi 7, 6 speakers, 8MP camera Huawei still calls it a laptop. But this is clearly something else. Part tablet, part screen, part laptop, and possibly the clearest sign yet that the keyboard era is ending. Once the keyboard stops being the default, the entire definition of what a computer is starts to shift. This is not just a new product. It is a test of what comes after the laptop. The companies that get this transition right will redefine personal computing faster than most people expect. Are we moving toward screens that adapt to us, instead of us adapting to the device?

How to set it up: 1. Get a Lightning/USB-C to Ethernet adapter (I'm also using a USB-A to USB-C converter but you can skip that) 2. Plug an Ethernet cable from your router into the adapter 3. Plug the adapter into your iPhone 4. Turn ON Airplane Mode 5. Make sure WiFi & Bluetooth stay OFF 6. Turn off the router's WiFi That's it. Your body gets 8 hours of peace. $15 adapter. Wired internet. Full reachability. No excuses left.

GEORGE ZINN'S DEVICE SOLVED The "device" was actually a waterproof iPhone pouch. And he had TWO of them: 1. Why did he need two pouches? Did he have a 2nd device we don't know about? For what? 2. Why did he need WATERPROOF pouches on a sunny day in the middle of the desert in the summer? Did he bring waterproof holders just in case—knowing ahead of time he was supposed to position himself by the water fountain on purpose? Is this a nothing-burger, or is there more going on here?

Warren Buffett reveals the underpricing test behind Apple's iPhone: a $1,000 device can be worth more than a $1 million plane. "I do not focus on the sales in the next quarter or the next year." "Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of millions of people practically live their lives by it." "That little piece of whatever it is, that is some of the most valuable real estate in the world." "They spend hours a day." "It is part of their habit of living." "If we did not have it, you could not sell them anything else. They either went next door or they came back." "The iPhone 10 cost $1,000 and that is a lot of money." "I have a plane that costs me maybe a million dollars a year." "I would rather give up the plane, which is a million or a million and a half a year, for something that costs $1,000." "The iPhone is enormously underpriced." That is the replacement-friction test. The moat is not just usage. It is what customers refuse to substitute when supply disappears, prices rise, or a cheaper alternative shows up. Before you optimize conversion, pricing, or retention, ask the Buffett question: what would your best customer give up before giving up you? - Warren Buffett on CNBC
