I dont highly recommend it as much and here's why⬇️ Vaseline is an occlusive barrier that stops the natural exchange of oxygen and moisture between your skin and the atmosphere. While it feels like it "locks in" hydration, it actually signals your cells to stop producing their own essential lipids.

Vaseline is absolutely not a moisturiser. I worked for chemical engineer who told be it works as barrier only. If you keep applying it as moisturiser, your skin stops producing its own natural oils, making dry cracked lips worse. This is rubbish.

Petroleum jelly isn’t the villain people think it is it doesn’t hydrate, but it’s amazing at locking moisture in. Great for dry lips and irritated spots, just not a miracle for dark circles. It’s safe, refined, and way less scary than the “clean beauty” crowd makes it sound. 💗
