40 senators have co-sponsored a bill that would require you to upload your drivers license before being able to post online. They say it's to "protect children" but in reality, they want your home address on file and to ensure you're not using a VPN. Wrong think will not...

And for the people saying "you're not anonymous now so just give them what they ask for" is an absolutely ridiculous statement. This is leading to the ID2020 they want us all to have which will be eventually be linked to your UBI, Social credit score, ESG score and you'll be rated based on the content you read and post. Baby steps ,otherwise people will not comply or like many are saying now, think its totally harmless. Remember how great many thought the patriot act was post 911? Look at how many people have had their rights violated by that law. Think beyond "I'm not anonymous now"

Wouldn't that be just as racist as requiring voter ID?

Well as a Gen X-er I survived the first 25 or so years without internet, It will suck, but I’m pretty sure can survive my last 25 or so years without it, too.

Yet another attempt by the DC swamp to control the access to and flow of information. All under the guise of protecting children. In reality, the aim of this legislation is to protect them from the citizens they purport to represent. They need to identify you, so they can use the information against you.

I don't think I'm anonymous on the internet. They know more about me than I do.

People have ways to stay anonymous and they want to take that away.

But vote without I.D. is okay? Drag Queens in schools is okay? Sex changes for minors is okay? THIS BILL IS NOT TO PROTECT CHILDREN.

I knew it. Although I applaud the success of “sound of freedom“ I knew they would use it as an opportunity. Problem reaction solution. This is just the beginning of the new policies that they will come forward with in the guise of protecting children. This is the wrong way. How about accountability for real perpetrators that they’re catching now. I do not support this bill. If this is what it is. It also means the children will be restricted and will not be able to use the Internet. I suppose a parent will have to sign in for them. I don’t like where this is going.

Are these the same senators that say you don’t need to show a license to vote?

Jordan Peterson: "If you're competent and silent you will be ignored." "You might think well people should reward you because you're competent. And yes of course they should. But if you're competent and silent then you're just part of the background that's keeping everything functioning" On why you cannot negotiate from a position of weakness: "If you want to push your career forward you have to push it forward. You have to be competent and you have to be strategic" "To be strategic when you negotiate for a new position or a new salary you have to be able to say if you don't give me what I want then something you don't like will happen to you" "It's not a physical threat. It's that you have an option" "You have your CV in order. You're educated and competent and desirable to people outside of your immediate job. You're willing to instantly put yourself on the job market" "So that when you go talk to the person you're negotiating with you're credible" On the one thing most people completely miss about negotiation: "It's very seldom that you're talking to the person who's at the top of the pecking order. What you need to do is tell them a story that they can tell to their boss to make you not a problem" "A good story is look we really need this person because they're hyper competent and they have a better offer" "If you go in there with no power you're going to lose. Obviously" He concludes with the one thing every competent person needs to hear: "The first thing you need to know if you're going to negotiate is that you have to be able to say no. And what no means is that you're not going to do it"
