40 years ago tonight

@volsqt2004 Thank you to Bruce Wilkerson’s dad for the tickets. We had the time of our life! I was an 18 year old idiot.

I was there. Great game and watching Vinny on his butt the entire game was awesome. Lost my voice yelling. UT took over NO that day.

@RockyTopSaint I was there

My family and I were there!! Incredible game!

Hard to believe it’s been 40 years…but easily one of the best games I’ve ever attended. What an amazing few days in New Orleans! 🍊

I was there too! Thought I was just going to experience New Orleans.. but ended up becoming a TN fan!

I remember it well!

There will never be another John Ward

Great game to go back and watch from time to time. 🔥🔥🍊

@SECcousinShane this a little before your time I guess. 🙂

What a memory! So glad to say I was there in person to witness this legendary game!!🧡🤍

I was there!

Yep. Awesome in person. Great memory. Miami came out and crushed Tennessee’s T and said, this is what we are going to do to you. It was a great time.

We were there!!

That was my freshman year at UT. It solidified my status as a VFL!
