According to youth crime experts, the attack was a part of a growing trend where teenagers film themselves attacking random people for "likes" on social media. The incident reportedly happened at the Southern Cross Station in Docklands, Australia. Thankfully, a man stepped in to protect the woman with Down Syndrome which stopped the attack.
