Watch this amazing story and i can guarantee you get more than emotional ❤️ This calf and god became the best of friends after a hurricane. The hurricane came straight for them and there was a little calf in their pasture that was starting to flood. Her husband took her inside and staight in to the laundry room and laid her down but her nise was ice cold. She was shaking but their dog Sealy began to licking and kissing her and the little calfs eyes opened up and she bagan to get life back again. Sealy stayed at her side like a mom. The vet suggested that the calf should stay in the laundry room or in the house because she didn not have any immunesystem....And she began to think she was one of the dogs... Sealy also had a tough start in her life but she took care of was Harveigh as her own and the entire family will always have a very special bond ❤️❤️❤️❤️

SURPRISE — we’re seeing double! 🦒🦒 Two weeks ago, we shared that the Zoo welcomed a female giraffe calf and that our friends at the TODAY Show were helping us pick her name … but the evening following that announcement, we welcomed a SECOND female calf! 🥹💕 Born just 13 days apart, the girls share the same dad, Apollo, but have different moms — Kala welcomed the first calf, and Acacia welcomed the newest little one. And now, they're both out on habitat with the herd! After spending time bonding with their moms and meeting the rest of the giraffe herd behind the scenes, our adorable duo has officially made their African Savanna debut (with a little soft launch yesterday 🤭). We're also excited to share that TODAY has officially announced the winning name for Kala's calf: Kumi! Kumi is Swahili for "10," honoring the fact that she is Kala's 10th calf. We're still finalizing a name for Acacia's little girl, but she's already easy to spot! Acacia is a Rothschild's giraffe, while a majority of our herd is made up of reticulated giraffes. She passed along a bit of her unique patterning to her calf through the darker brown coloring on her lower legs. We've affectionately nicknamed them her "shin guards" since she arrived during the Summer of Soccer in DFW. ⚽️🦒 We can't wait to watch these two girls grow up together — and now you can, too! 🥰

This calf spends her life waiting in vain for a taste of her mother’s milk. Outside my office in Sector 62, Gurgaon, India — employees sip milk tea and toss the cups — the calf licks the leftover drops from thousands of cups. This has become a daily routine. Well-educated professionals from global companies, including one of the big four accounting and consulting firms, stand there sipping tea while watching this calf struggle for mothers milk. What I fail to understand is why educated men and women choose to turn a blind eye to this exploitation of dairy animals. I hope you reflect on this and choose not to be part of it. A small step could be shifting toward plant-based alternatives. If you find it difficult, try to make gradual changes to end exploitation of cows and buffaloes.

She refused to leave. Standing guard, she watched every moment of the rescue, alert, protective, unwavering as machines carefully dug a pathway to free her trapped baby. And when that path was finally made, she pulled her baby out herself. What more do we need to understand about the supreme love of an elephant mother for her calf ? Equally moving is the professionalism with which the Tamil Nadu Forest staff from Valparai, Anamalai Tiger Reserve, rescued the calf and successfully united the mother and the calf. Heartfelt thanks to FD, DD Rangers, Foresters , Guards and the entire team of ATR for making this extraordinary rescue possible #TNForest #elephants

A newborn calf had fallen into a pond and was on the verge of drowning. The mother cow stood anxiously on the shore, never taking her eyes off her baby for a single moment. A brave man jumped into the water and swam toward the struggling calf. He carefully lifted the little one and brought it safely back to shore. The mother cow waited nearby, almost as if she understood that he had just saved her baby’s life. The moment the calf was reunited with its mother was incredibly touching. Shivering but alive, the little calf stood beside her, and seeing them together again was a beautiful sight. Even though the man was afraid the mother cow might attack him, his kindness gave him the courage to overcome that fear and rescue the calf. This is truly the kind of compassion and selfless act our world needs more of. ❤️🐄🙏
