The shutdown of Bayside forced the Chinese owner to come out. People were told that the owner was overseas, but it did not even take 30 minutes for them to arrive. The owner of the building eventually showed up and admitted to all the wrongdoing. They said that from today onward, proper lease agreements will be put in place. They also said they will no longer rent salon spaces to foreign nationals, and that only South Africans will be allowed to operate salons in that building.
