Even as a Yanks fan i can say that despite the rivalry Boston players are some of the most caring people on earth. Was in Boston Children's Hospital back on 4/07 and was able to meet Tim Wakefield and met Wally. They even came up to my room as i was bedridden from a 20hr surgery.
He was an incredible human and player. His legacy and contributions to Boston and all of New England will never be forgotten.
God bless these two beautiful children
