Tania and I watched Elon Musk and SpaceX launch more Starlinks up off a Falcon 9 rocket last night. What a thrill. I saw the last space shuttle go up years ago when my kids were very young. I cannot wait to see this closer. If you haven’t witnessed a space launch you MUST come for one. It is a wonder of the world. Truly.

SpaceX timeline called for 11-seconds of entry burn (short, but for RTLS), but this Booster only burned for about three seconds. Then fought a fair bit during the return but still managed to land! Secondary to the smooth crew launch on Dragon, which all went well, but it is fascinating if the booster had an entry burn issue, but STILL got back to the landing site OK! Or SpaceX changed something and didn't update their timeline. Let's see if we get an official answer during post-launch presser.

That’s because it is true and represents a major transition from the more Wild Wild West of prototype development to a more operational, maturing space launch and spacecraft system. After Flight 11, much of the original orbital launch site systems, from the launch mount, to the water deluge & supporting systems are about to be replaced by a brand-new & much more reliable, survivable & rapidly reusable system. These changes will even make the iconic imagery we are familiar with just historical memories.
