"Free your mind with these CIA-approved authors" lmao you guys

You’d rather we consume state-backed books that have done nothing but lie about our history and the true account of events?

On that cluster of intellectual thought, I would also recommend @YusufSerunkuma ’s Surrounded: Democracy, Free Markets and Other Entrapments of New Colonialism, whose razor-sharp analysis offers a profound critique of the unfinished project of decolonization.

@YusufSerunkuma Thanks for this. Surrounded sounds like it really digs into those unfinished contradictions of decolonization, especially how old systems just reshape themselves in new language. I’ll check it out.

@YusufSerunkuma It is a masterpiece that unravels the subtle disguises of colonialism that continue to keep us in chains.

Check these out as well:

This one is the best so far I read it yesterday and it was awesome

Thank you for this 👌🏾

My pleasure Chi

5 Books to Decolonize the mind

I tried to read Things Falls Apart, but I got bored, especially by the names of the characters. Even though it's was a translated version to IsiZulu, it still bores me to death. I guess I shall swallow my pride and get the original one, not translated one

I think you should give it another try. This time in it’s original version 😊

Yeah. As an author myself, I won't forgive myself for not reading one of the best book ever wrote in history.

Why do you have a colon in your mind? And do you really think it is safe to remove it?

Abahambe, FOOLS, unfortunately, they don't read enough about AFRICA, PHILOSOPHY, and AFRICAN HISTORY. That's most of them don't know who they're since most of them NEVER have researched their roots, lineage, family trees, and genealogy.

Thank you, its a very important list.

Good books indeed

of course fanon was loved by post colonialist communists, he gave an intellecualised reasoning for murderous violence to cleanse people of their own inferiority complex. that they may give in and make beasts of themselves rather than seek empowerment, any wonder africa is cooked.

Thanks. any digital copy

How are you decolonised as an African, and still can not wear your own natural hair, but some fake human hair wigs or plastic wigs which is harmful to the environment. Cut this 🐂💩, wear your African hair before talking about decolonisation. Performative Pan-Africanist you are.
