Retired police Sgt.,Cheryl Dorsey, just echoed my comment, almost to the letter, concerning the number of shots fired and the fact that someone had to slap in a new clip. My feelings on this is, someone's getting charged and someone's losing their job(s).

If he was alive, it doesn't matter what he can recognize, as long as he can make the case that he didn't know who they were, that, bc they were in plain clothes, they looked like a gang with guns (which police are), then that's all of the reasonable doubt would he needs.

The windows are tinted enough that you can see who's driving, but too dark that you couldn't see if a black seat belt was being used.

I live in Chicago. I’m a White Male. I was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt while running to the store to get my son watermelon. I apologized, and buckled up. Was let go with a warning. Zero shots fired.

Yeah, you were pulled over bc they saw that you weren't wearing your seat belt, and, you weren't pulled over by 5 threatening cops with guns drawn. Stop making statements that have nothing to do with this post!

He refuses he’s not driving, didn’t break any laws, so why should he identify himself? After a tense exchange, officers discover the driver, his uncle has an active warrant. Now, the bigger debate begins. If the driver is wanted, should every passenger automatically have to show ID, even if they committed no violation? Is that reasonable officer safety or creeping overreach? At what point does an investigation cross the line into infringing on individual rights?

Karen stopped at this man's car to tell him that his child needed to be in her car seat, even though they were parked and the vehicle was not moving. If you've had a toddler in the car, you know that keeping them entertained is a challenge so allowing her to roam while parked is probably what I would have done. What would have said to Karen if this had been your car and child?

They got out of their car and started chimping out. They tried to get physical, but realized something was wrong when the Asian man started laughing at them and was really calm given the situation (he was armed). They then started hurling racial slurs at him instead and backed off.
