5 years ago today, Starlink connected our first paying customer with high-speed, low-latency internet from space. Today, Wendy and Sean are joined by over 7M people across 150 countries, territories and markets staying connected with Starlink. Thank you to all of our customers.

Life changing technology

I still remember getting that Beta acceptance email and immediately signing up! Seems like yesterday Dishy McFlatFace was at my door ready to connect me to the stars in Northern Vermont! The neighborhood cats greatly appreciated it that winter.

@SawyerMerritt It was literally cheaper and better to buy a Starlink Mini for our pool than to extend the home WiFi to the edge of the property. 🙏

@elonmusk I’ve used Starlink for over two years and thoroughly enjoy it. Very rarely do I even detect any issue. Out here in the woods best I can get is 10 meg DSL so it’s nice to have a really fast streaming service, thank you, Starlink!

From a tech perspective, scaling to 12,000+ new customers per day while maintaining low latency across 150 markets is insane. The engineering behind orbital coordination, spectrum management, and seamless handoffs between satellites is mind-blowing. Congrats to the entire Starlink team and all customers!

I live in a very rural area where it’s so hard to find any type of good continuous working, Internet. Until I started using Starlink it has been wonderful. It’s truly is the best high speed, low latency Internet available it has never let me down. I recommend it to everyone ❤️ very well deserved praise!

Everything has to start with belief. Trying to discuss what quantum computers will do for the world with my son, would be better if somebody else tried....😅
