50 years ago today

I was at that game.

I remember this play well. We all tried to have holes or tear our jersey's after seeing this. Derrick Ramsey was one of the first UK Football players I looked up to growing up. Still my QB1.

@tomleachKY Great player. Better person.

I was there!

Bring back the power K AND those tear-away jerseys!!! lol...

@cutler1300 Derrick Ramsey won state championships as a QB at 2 different high schools in 2 different states. He might be the best overall athlete to play football at UK.

@bigblueinsider1 Gotta love those old tear away jerseys

He was a bad man. From a Louisville fan

@bigblueinsider1 Derrick Ramsey…the goat!

The chain link fence surrounding the field dates this video.

Love that man! U old enough to have seen Sonny Collins, Corey?Man did I love him,alot of uh..wild facts their,not enough room here! Also;;please tell me BBM will be on tv instead of ESPN app ! 😡 wth we pay for tv& got have degree to figure out app ?... ain't going there !

@bigblueinsider1 That tear away jersey was ready to pop 😂 that guy blowing by it seem to barely touch it

Derrick Ramsey! That team, the last great UK football team, had several very good future NFL players. Exciting to watch them play back then!

@bigblueinsider1 I was there !

How big was Ramsey? He looks huge!

Remember it well !!!

My first UK game attended… best time ever with my dad & brother

@cutler1300 “Hey! That dude looks like a tight end playing quarterback” said the Raiders

@tomleachKY Big Ram!

@tomleachKY If you hadn’t told me this was 50yrs ago I would’ve guessed this was a clip of Stoops offense. 😁😁😁

And Baby I was there!!! Wasn’t even a teenager yet. The tear away jerseys were so awesome. Derrick Ramsey will always be my favorite player.
