Kivi Bernhard was invited to keynote a high-level Microsoft event—scheduled on Shabbat. When offered millions to speak, he declined, saying he couldn’t compromise Shabbat. Microsoft rescheduled the event, and Kivi delivered his keynote on Sunday morning. Later, a senior VP told Kivi he discussed the rescheduling with Bill Gates on his private jet.
