5/18/2026: Ordinary pullback or something more? - Rotation under the surface continued today with $IGV outperforming $SMH. - $XLE $XOP $OIH the strongest groups in the market with $VLO $RIG $BORR $VAL $MPC $HAL $SLB all and more all hitting new 52wk highs today. - Unwind in the recent... high flyers within the memory, optic and semiconductor sector. Healthy action that has been much needed. $MU $SNDK $LITE $AAOI $CIEN $GLW. A bit of a crowded trade as of late. - Neo Coulds/ data center names also got hit on the chin $NBIS $CRWV $HUT $CIFR $APLD - $XLP consumer staples continues to act well. This market is never my favorite when toilet paper is acting well. - $XLK well earned -2% down day. - Cybersecurity has leapfrogged names with its relative strength $CRWD $PANW $FTFT $DDOG - $USO continues to be one of the more reliable groups $RKLB $SATS $PL $LUNR $SATL doing nothing wrong. - $USO hit a new high today which is a big negative. Bessent trying to talk down the Oil markets down with a license to access Russian Oil. - Not thinking about making any trading decision based on the news. - The leaders NEEDED to consolidate and that is exactly what they have begun to do. If you feel compelled to buy every single dip you probably got your ass kicked on Friday and some more today. - Let volatility contract and focus on the names which have held up best after earnings. - The market is not broken, things were just extended. Turn off the news and focus on price, and DO NOT chase extended!show more

Would prefer to see growth leading. - $XSD $SMH semiconductors healthy after seeing the come off of historic extended levels. - $GLD $SLV Gold and Silver once again acting as if the high we saw in January will not be contested with for a long time to come. - $BTC $ETH also refuses to participate with or without the market. - $COPX crowded copper trade continues to weaken. - $URA Uranium and $REMX rare earth groups were also taken to the woodshed as of late. - I think more consolidation feels like the likely path here. - A negative for me would be a round trip on $SPY $QQQ today with a negative reaction to $NVDA earnings. - Leaders that bounced cannot lose todays established lows.

2/9/2026 Daily Recap: Software on the rise - $IGV +3% seeing the long awaited bounce $MSFT $ORCL $PLTR $CRWD all +3% or more on the day. - $XOP continues to act as if a much bigger move is on the horizon over the coming months. $XOM $CVX $XLO $RIG $VAL $TDW - Semis continue to be lead higher by $TSM. $NVDA nice bounce back the past two sessions up 12% and $CRDO releases prelim earnings up 15% in the after hours session. - $ITA with a little more work ahead but nice action from $HWM $PL $RKLB today - $AA with what looks to be a bull flag breakout. Commodities with the metals still acting well. $FCX $SCCO $NEM $AEM. 7/7/2026: Everyone on Drugs - $XBI $IBB starting to accelerate and could use a small bit of digestion. - $USO a bit of a bounce today and we started to see the strength yesterday with $VLO $DINO $MPC. - Memory names washout and rally near their 50sma. $SNDK $MU. Not putting it past this group to stage a multiday rally but not thinking these names are ready for new highs. - Photonics continue to show weakness $LITE $AAOI $CIEN. - $WGMI names continue to sell off despite strong news for $WULF yesterday. - $NVDA holds the 200sma again just as it appeared ready to slump. - $TSLA flirting with higher but cannot seem to regain it's footing above the 200sma. If we can get back above that level I suspect the "robotics" theme is something we start to hear more about. - $SPCX holding along IPO lows. $149 is an important spot to hold. - Software and more importantly cybersecurity is acting best in the growth sector but not much to do there $PANW $CRWD $DDOG $RBRK $OKTA. - Healthcare, Pharma and Bio is the best of the bunch so for me that means less is more until I see the Nasdaq leading the way.

2/18/2026 Daily Recap: It's all about energy! - $OIH $XLE continue to be the leading groups in the market by a mile in 2026 and there doesn't seem to be a reason for that to stop. $XOM $VLO $FANG $OXY $COP $HAL $SLB - $XLV still building out a clean base. over $159 could see some follow through. - $QQQ $SPY continue to chop around but there are already groups trying to lift and show renewed life. - $UFO finally woke up a bit today on the back of $PL $RKLB $KTOS - $ITA the other A&D group holding up well on the back of $GE $NOC $RTX. - $IGV closes 1.2% positive despite the 5th largest holding $PANW closed down 7%. - Earnings continues to be hit or miss. $CVNA 15% implosion on its report. - $IYT digesting its recent gains almost looks ready to continue higher. - $XLP another group still resting while $XLF has been on a recent 3 day bounce. Would love to see financials reclaim the 200sma. - Chop continues but individual names are starting to show up. One day at a time!

6/16/2026 Daily Recap: Chop and more sideways - $SMH almost a 5% down day for the semiconductors. $MRVL $INTC $AMD $SNDK $MU $ARM - $MAGS tight inside session with the help from $AAPL $GOOGL. - $USO $XLE $XOP far too news driven and really nothing to do in that group at the moment. - $WGMI needs to finish digesting but names I'm watching $APLD $CIFR $HUT $WULF - I was hopeful for software names today but absolutely no love yet. $DDOG $OKTA $CRWD $NTAP. - $XLF reclaiming the 200sma over the last few days. $GS $MS the two horses in that group. - Optics trade god awful $CIEN $LITE $AAOI $AXTI - I don't think this market did anything wrong today outside of punishing some late buyers. My issue here is my lack of tight setups. - Holiday shortened week = be patient.

5/14/2026 Daily Recap: Hindenburg omen strikes again. - $QQQ $SPY closed up on the day one again reaching 10x ATR extension from he 50sma. - We saw a healthy pause in the Memory and optic sector which had been running a little hot $AAOI $LITE $MU $SNDK $WDC $STX - $BE new all time closing high trying to come out of a high tight flag. - $CRCL stuck in neutral after the senate banking committee passes the clarity act. - $IGV appears to be seeing more participation today from an already beaten up cohort of software stocks. Either degrossing of shorts or accumulation of beaten up names is yet to be seen, but plenty of names catching a bid off the bottom. - $USO continues to hold up incredibly well but we seem to be looking past the idea of higher gas prices for now. $XLE constructive chart. - $NVDA market leader running away but starting to get a touched stretched in its own right. - $CBRS new IPO opens today oversubscribed. Halts into $385 and that marks the top. I am of the opinion that these richly valued IPOs are a money grab here and a multiweek fade will sour the mood for other equally rich valued IPOs down the pipeline. - Neo Clouds continue to act like one of the better young groups in the market. $NBIS $IREN $HUT $WULF $CIFR. - New positions are still fine but just be mindful of your position sizing and tight leash on new merchandise. - Let your leaders work if you own them!

2/11/2026 Daily Recap: Another day of chop - $IGV met with more selling on the back of $INTU $MSFT $U $ORCL and friends. - $IYT sees some profit taking -.8% - $XLE starting to get a bit short term stretched. $XOM 10x ATR from the 50sma and likely needs a cool down period. - Memory stocks bounce back sharply today up double digits on $MU $SNDK. Micron with a $450 upgrade from Morgan Stanley. $XLF continued weakness and into the 200sma is not what we want to see. $JPM $SCHW $C $WFC. Need to stay in an uptrend if we want to remain in a market risk on environment. $XLP (toilet paper) continues higher. Signaling that even if you get laid off due to #AI you still need to wipe your ass. - $DE $CAT $GEV leading the way for industrials. An very powerful trend. - $RSP another new all time closing high which is bullish yet a choppy $SPY and $QQQ. - Hopefully everyone is trading well and staying out of trouble!

Although light volume we are seeing leadership continue to shine! - $UFO can be argued was the strongest group on Thursday. SpaceX IPO is on the horizon and can likely cause a frenzy in the smaller space related names $PL $RKLB $ASTS $LUNR $GSAT - $SMH encouraging action from your semiconductors. $MRVL $AMD $TER $ASML $FORM $AEHR $INTC - Memory stocks have a powerful up week with $MRVL $SNDK $WDC $STX choosing to wake up. - Optics very much a leading group $LITE $CIEN $GLW $VIAV $AAOI. - Despite $USO being up double digits we saw some continued profit taking in the oil and gas names $XOM $VLO $COP $MPC $CVX. - $DXY something to monitor closely. If the Dollar starts to move out from a stage 1 base I think it's possible the metals trade continues to suffer along with on emerging markets. - $XBI held up very well during this market downturn. They still act like the beneficiary of the eventual drop in interest rates. - $IWM did a great job living above the 200sma. Russell is comprised of many regional banks $KRE and biotechs. Almost hard to believe it could be the group which leads us higher if/when the downturn in the markets is done. - Feels like an important week on the cusp of a follow through day but no need to get excited. 2/4 Recap & Watchlist video: Toilet Paper versus Tech - There might have been 30 stocks on my radar down 10-20% today ranging from $AMD $RDDT $ASTS $RKLB to $ONDS $PLTR $KTOS and $BE. Carnage everywhere! - $IYT transports are seeing massive accumulation lead by $XPO $ODFL - $XLP lead by $WMY $PG $KO $PM and $PEP are seeing very strong rotation - $XLI another leading group with $DE $CMI in steady trends. - Software and Semis continue to get hammered but it was finally a day when $IGV outperformed $SMH. I actually think that's a good pair trade going forward. 2/4 Recap & Watchlist video: Toilet Paper versus Tech - There might have been 30 stocks on my radar down 10-20% today ranging from $AMD $RDDT $ASTS $RKLB to $ONDS $PLTR $KTOS and $BE. Carnage everywhere! - $IYT transports are seeing massive accumulation lead by $XPO $ODFL - $XLP lead by $WMY $PG $KO $PM and $PEP are seeing very strong rotation - $XLI another leading group with $DE $CMI in steady trends. - Software and Semis continue to get hammered but it was finally a day when $IGV outperformed $SMH. I actually think that's a good pair trade going forward. 4/7/2026 Daily Recap: Bulls wake up at the close! - $QQQ runs into some morning supply but the bulls do an amazing job buying us back up into the close! - $USO nothing broken yet but crude oil started to bend today on news of a possible show of good faith for two weeks from Iran. -Memory names continue to lead $WDC $STX $SNDK $MU. - Optics far from broken $LITE $CIEN $AAOI $VIAV $GLW $COHR - Neoclouds had a nice day and another group worth showing some attention to. $NBIS(the leader) $WULF $CRWV $HUT the others. - $UFO aerospace and defense still looks ready to test higher prices $RKLB $PL $ASTS $SATS - $MAGS I don't think it's necessary for this group to lead for the market to trend higher. But having them participate together for a day or two could really be helpful to help set the stage for a follow through day. - $BTC $ETH still act like stage 4B setups. They deserve some credit for not having gone lower with the Nasdaq. - $CAR 18x ATR from the 50sma. Appears as if some fund is blowing up but maybe one more push and we have a nice short opportunity! - Quality names are still holding up really well. $DELL $TER $GEV $LRCX $INTC $KLAC $AMAT $NET $VRT $MPWR $KEYS. - Bases have been built. Barring some epic letdown the market is on the doorstep to some follow through. Staying optimistic!

3/18/2026 Daily Recap: Time to rip the band aid off? - PPI came in above expectations .7% v .3% and that sent the market tumbling before the opening bell. - Jerome Powell than spoke in the afternoon and the market proceeds to roll over some more into the close. - $QQQ -1.4% aided by $AAPL $MSFT $TSLA $NVDA $AMZN all closing lower. - $ARKK looks like a bear flag about ready to breakdown. Cathy's holdings are just acting like absolute garbage. - $USO $XLE $XOP continue its tear higher. $COP $FANG $DVN $OXY $VLO $MPC $APA all higher - $MU reported incredible earnings after the close today and down a modest 1%. Not a group we want to lose here or we start running out of bull cases on this market. $SNDK $WDC - $RKLB $ASTS $KTOS all rejected their 50sma today just after it looked like a renewed trend was possible - $BTC $ETH lead the markets on the down move today but is this just some digestion before trying to resume higher? - $XLV already losing ground quickly on the back $LLY - $XLP a defensive sector also taken down quickly. - $XLF also no real signs of life which is hard to imagine we kick into a real bullish trend without financials. - $MAGS look like they need life support soon starting to establish themselves below the 200sma. - Traction remains hard to come by and for me it's been a better environment shorting into supply

6/23/2026 Daily Recap & WL video: Memory stocks developing amnesia? - $EWY was the big culprit for todays pullback taking $MU down 13% ahead of it's earnings tomorrow. $SNDK down 13% as well. - $XLP $XLV were two of todays leading groups and these are not groups which scream risk on. - $KRE $XBI continue to act well and this lends itself to the idea that $IWM could be the leading ETF this summer. - $DXY dollar looks to be breaking out, and I do believe that will be a headwind for equities if it continues, but positioning says we should keep an eye on for a potential failed breakout. - Loved how strong the gap down reversal was in the neocloud names $NBIS $WULF in particular stood out to me. $WGMI notable strength. - $MAGS closing below the 200sma again. - $JETS looks to be benefitting while crude oil prices come down. I just don't see myself trading $DAL - Evaluate your traction over the last several trades and that should help you determine how much you should be pushing here. - Did nothing today and I was perfectly fine sitting on my hands!

Conducting a sector analysis in order to set up a bullish trade for $FXC There have been some huge trades outside of #crypto and $BTC and the rotation in August has seen some of these stocks double in price as the trend has been so powerful (as powerful as the downtrend has been in the alt coin market). This is why in DC I have posted bullish trade after bullish trade outside of that market. If you want to take this seriously, then you need to focus on a range of markets and follow the money. If you are only fixated on an alt coin and looking to influencers for help, then well that is not going to help. Only you can help you. 2/19/2026 Daily Recap: Lightest volume of the year! - $ITA $UFO two groups which continue to see money flowing in. $GE $NOC $LMT $PL $RKLB $KTOS $HWM - $DE and industrials holding up very well on the back of a positive Deere reaction. $CAT $AGCO - $MSOS quietly closed as the highest group(pun intended) - Optic stocks remain a growth leader. $LITE $CIEN $AAOI $COHR - Memory names lead by $SNDK, $MU looking tight for tomorrow. $WDC $STX just consolidating. - $OIH still the leading group in the market, but it's also gotten to the point where i think a multiweek consolidation would be healthy. - $IGV $BTC finally tightening up well here and maybe have a chance to see an oversold bounce. - $QQQ $SPY continue to chop around but with the destruction in some of the biggest names, if we can just start to bounce I would suspect the Qs can find themself 2-3% from an ATH in a hurry.

Marc Andreessen on the 3 things he looks for when investing in a startup The first thing Marc Andreesen looks for is a big market: “Is there a big existing market that you think you can go after and displace incumbents? Or do you believe there will be a new market that will be big?” The second thing he looks for is a 10x better product: “Is there a fundamental technology or economic change that justifies a new company? And the way I always think about that is: Is there a 10x change happening in the technology landscape? Is something 10x faster, 10x cheaper, or 10x better? If it’s not 10x, we as both VCs and entrepreneurs have to ask ourselves if it’s really worth doing because it’s really hard to start new companies . . . Existing companies are usually pretty good at what they do. So for a new company to exist, it has to bring a product to market that’s so much better than what exists that it punches through the status quo.” The third is the team: “Is the team outstanding? . . . You want to have a founding team of complementary skillsets. You want to have at least one super strong technologist — quite possibly more than one. Some of the best startups are actually more than one founding technologist. And then it often helps to have someone who is a marketing or salesperson who has a really good understanding of business.” Marc believes that you need all three of these, but if you’re going to compromise on one of those as an investor, it should be the product: “A great market is a lot easier to make up for with iterative product execution. The problem with a poor or small market is that even if you do a good job on the product, there just aren’t that many customers so it’s hard to ever get big and people get demoralized . . . And then we evaluate the team of a startup by its ability to get into a big market with a good product.”
