we got back-to-back double teamed while just trying to do a quest. No one talked and it was an awful experience. The next game we saw a team fighting the queen, we joined in to help, and we ended up having the best time ever with a ton of loot. ARC Raiders really shines when people are friendly. I still don't understand how the devs decided PvE wasn’t fun and removed it completely. Maybe part of the fun comes from knowing someone could betray you or jump you at any moment, but for me the most fun moments are when I find players to team up with and actually do things together.

🫂Chef Khaled made his delicious yellow rice for the camp today, my friends, and people were very happy when they received their meals because it's a favorite for many. I wanted to tell you we are working daily to distribute food and water for the camp, and we do this even when I do not mention it in my updates. These poor people rely on us to help them survive, and we wish we could do more for them in these cruel and miserable times. It is awful to see the horrific pictures of people living in tents who have nothing to save them from a bomb or a fire. My heart breaks for the animals too, my friends, because they are also helpless and they are suffering terribly in these conditions. I want to help them, my friends, and I can do this only with your generosity and help. If you could, will you please consider donating and sharing my message? This was yesterday at Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, Michigan on Lake Michigan. The storm rolled in fast. The last time I, Cara was out to visit Scott and April, Scott asked me what it meant when I told him I identified as a brat. A brat is a label in a kink dynamic. They are usually a sub (submissive), but they rarely ever just do what is asked of them. They often make it a challenge for the Dom and require a lot of wit and banter to engage with them. I’ll send you a picture of my… whoopsie! Over the years I’ve discovered that being a BRAT can help you navigate injuries in your workouts. Brats are: Putting an emphasis on fun. Always pushing it. Finding the edges of what you can do without going too far. When working with an injury or limitation in the gym you want those things. Finding movement that brings you joy can be instrumental during a time when you may feel as if your body is failing you. Pushing things just enough to constantly challenge yourself will allow you to not get stuck in corrective exercises and make consistent progress. I came across this clip of Carlos Alcaraz doing this simple but effective drill to help with his ball toss when serving It immediately made me think about how these amazing players in ANY sport don't skip the basics I see it everyday with golf, the recreational golfer isn't willing to do the smallest, most basic things in order to help themselves acheive their goals They say they want one thing but their actions don't show they will achieve it Golfers always want to hit driver as hard as they can, they skip the importance of setting up to the ball correctly, they don't like changing their terrible grip because it "feels weird" Yet the best tennis player on the planet is working on his ball toss in order to ensure he can serve the ball to the best of his abilities It's these 1% efforts that can help you achieve exactly what you want. Don't skip them & when a coach asks you to do them, there's a reason we want you to listen and do them. They are important

Working on improving Hoolis' "Deaths" with more anims, giving them more variety, since we had only one animation before. So far we're really happy with the explosive behavior! It makes powerful balls even more chaotic and satisfying to play with. The falling down one is cool too. We also added force modifiers for each type of bullet, allowing to make the standard Death more varied as well. So far it's pretty cool, but when the player uses Pingpong balls the Hoolis should fall faster or maybe have more friction when hitting the floor. What do you think? Anyway it's been a ton of fun to flesh-out this system! 😄 #gamedev #indiedev

Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Maybe only a broke system to prepare them for—nothing. This was not their doing. Now it is not your “job” to help them, it is your survival to help them if that is what you need. See some day after the dust settles these 20 year olds will be 40 year olds and running YOUR world. And at some point you may need them more than you think you do. You will need them, as they need you now. THIS IS WHAT PAST WISDOM KNEW. The elders of the past never found the need to piss on the youth and hope for the best.
