5400 So has a flex lane system that flips for rush hour: 4 lanes eastbound in the morning, 4 westbound in the evening. Overhead signs w/green arrows & ❌’s keep drivers safe. Great example of government doing something right. I support smart solutions like this in our county.

Here’s a good example of a nav disengagement. It’s disappointing to see these still happening in V14.3. This is a pretty straightforward setup. 3 lanes, clearly marked signage, large queue in the turning lane. Before I took over, FSD seemed completely unaware that it needed to stage the turn in the left lane, and would’ve missed the queue/tried to sneak in had I not taken over. You’d expect by now that it’d be able to gather context from the overhead signs, and sometimes it feels like it does, but I guess it really doesn’t and probably relies on map data.

This 19 second intro is a great example of how CBC protects the Liberal Government. “Canada’s economy has unexpectedly ground to a halt” ? For anyone who was paying attention there was nothing unexpected about it. “GDP shrank in the first quarter of the year, an annualized rate of 0.1%, that’s not much…..” Ya well, when the Government endlessly told Canadians how great everything was going, it means they were lying right to our faces. That’s unacceptable. If they lied about something as big as that, what else are they hiding?

This video of Snoop Dogg is going viral after he told viewers not to vote for Donald Trump, in an expletive-laden statement. A few things I need to point out: 1) Even though this video is suddenly trending this morning on multiple social platforms, it is OLD. In fact this video was created over 4 years ago in 2019 amidst a partial government shutdown as Trump was president. Snoop was talking about re-electing him in 2020, not 2024. 2) He has every right to express his opinion here, just like you have every right to push back. I would have avoided the expletives, but in general I still agree with him that Trump in 2020 or 2024 would be a disaster. Why would be elect the man who added more to our national debt in 4 years than any president in history, if we are all so worried about our national debt & inflation?

Today, I saw it for myself and now agree that one of the biggest causes of traffic jams in Kampala are the drivers who get on the road late but then, disregard all legal, moral, or human decency by forming extra lanes because those there before them aren't in as much of a hurry as they! In this video, there are two lanes - the one to the left illegally formed - but see how the driver of this St. Francis Ntinda Kigoowa van creates. THIRD LANE right in front of a bridge! Somehow, Uganda Police Force officers just looked on! A lady officer was pleading with everyone, and creating room for the guys breaking the law as they bullied her! #StayInYourLaneUg

I spent over 35 years in Huntington Beach, and hearing about what happened in Newport Beach hits a little different. WOW v14.3.2 is very decisive and is able to execute with great confidence. Big fan. That said, in my first drive it messed up *spectacularly* twice in <15 miles of suburban driving. In one instance, it swerved out of its through lane of traffic into a lane that was ending, right as it was ending. It was not trying to overtake any vehicles, it just swerved over violently. ugh The other, in the video below, it did not consider that the left lane was turn-only, and tried to use it overtake other vehicles while their light was red. (this intersection begins with left turn green and through-lanes red) It is still very slow to merge into the proper lane in time for a turn, and ended up cutting off a large truck to make its turn. Could it have completed its maneuvers and continued without intervention? Yes. Would it be safe or legal to do so? No. Plenty of work left to do on FSD.
