5x5: Metal // six artworks inspired by one element a thread🪡

I had the privilege of curating my first exhibition, collaborating with artists I greatly respect and inspire me. Listings will go live on Monday 24th @ 11am ET (with Brolket doing an auction) Now lets dive into the arts ↓↓↓

1/ Steel Flea by @_Su_ceren a liquid paradox of technological progress, revealing the tension between control and resistance a delight to watch, over and over. ↓↓↓

2/ Quantum Computer (two sycamores) by @sabatobox inspired by Google's quantum computer, this pixel artwork makes one wonder where we are heading, a race to civilization progress or its destruction (love the hint to Doom videogame ;)) ↓↓↓

3/ The Weight of Everything We've Ever Built by @0x3y3 an abstract generative art built from a much-complicated workflow which I cant begin to understand to me, this represents the endless loop of production and consumption, its intensity strikes yet massages the eyes ↓↓↓

4/ PLETHORA by @brolket an insane (yes insane) 607 frames ∼30 seconds gif like a short film compressed into a looping gif 5 scenes, one cat, infinite greed. so many details to spot, take your time, read the piece, READ IT ↓↓↓

5/ Mercury, Memory. by @michaelmicasso MEK took a whole different approach, a 12-page PDF drawing a parallel between pixel dithering and the memory loss phenomenon caused by mercury poisoning. Grab a coffee, slow down and enjoy the journey; it’s full of hidden gems ↓↓↓

6/ Rise of the Fallen Star​ by myself I'm going to let you interpret that one ;) hoping you enjoyed the arts as much as I did much love to the team at @cyberformsart, @aljaparis @UnknownCo123 @vinciane_j, thankful for the opportunity 🖤⚙️
