Bo Jackson is the greatest athlete of all time. Hate what happen to the hip. Breaking bats, he was wild

Bo was definitely the top athlete of that era. Always a big crowd at the K to watch and see what amazing feat he was going to pull off that night.

Best athlete of all fucking time. Don’t say that era or some shit. Amazing athlete. If he hadn’t gotten hurt he would hands down be the greatest running back and it wouldn’t be close. And he’d still be one of best baseball players of all time

Every generation has a super athlete. That was Bo. Wish he had stayed healthy.

I was at that game against the Yankees in August 1993. You should have heard the collective gasps from the yankee fans when that throw was mid flight to third base.

Bo Jackson made the impossible look easy. What a gift it was to watch that man play the game.

Missing his hardest throw! The one that was a line drive to him in left and threw a seed to Brett at first to double off runner! I think it was in Detroit

I never needed statcast to tell me how hard an outfielder threw - it was obvious those players who had a hose and those who didn't. That was a great throw by a great player. Isn't that enough?

Why so much left field? Don’t you usually put the stronger arm in right field?

No idea how accurate this is from @grok • Throw 1 (Marty Barrett at home, 1987): ~90–100 mph • Throw 2 (to second base on Heath): mid-to-high 90s mph • Throw 3 (Harold Reynolds at home, 1989): ≈96 mph • Throw 4 (Carlton Fisk doubled off at first): mid-90s to low-100s mph • Throw 5 (to home after laying back): high-90s mph • Throw 6 (Mike Gallego at third, flat-footed, 1993): ≈100.5 mph

The dude had a canon for an arm. What an athlete! If his hip hadn't given out, just imagine how much more he would have accomplished.
