Their efforts changed the minds — and the votes — of elected officials and resulted in the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The power of the people is much greater than the people in power. We can’t wait for our leaders to act. We have to lead.

The gutting of the Voting Rights Act is a deliberate attempt to undermine Black voting power. It’s infuriating and wrong. We must show up strong in November to take back the House, stop the SAVE Act and instead, finally pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

Black people are losing their jobs in the hundreds of thousands.. Black history have been whitewash. Over 10,000 black books are being banned across America, especially in Florida..
