The final version of “Breathe On Me” is perfect, but I also love the demo version. Her ad-libs are amazing and I love how they add more personality to the track, especially in the second verse and the end! ༄

I miss when Metallica was still a thrash band. Not the polished version. The version that sounded like it wanted to take the building down with it. Fast, mean, and locked in like the whole point was impact. This clip still has some of that bite. Hetfield’s downpicking, Newsted hammering away, no extra fat on it. Just four guys playing like the song might escape if they let up for a second. They got bigger. They got cleaner. They also lost a little of that violence. Anyone else miss this version of the band more than the later one?

A few hours ago I saw this early version of "Rescue Squad Mater" and I have to say, the final version is definitely superior. However, that ending gag was gold. I wish they kept it in the final version. I also love the titles being based off the Disney Cartoons Title Cards.
