Cherif Fofana (15 | DM/CM) vs Sporting Hortaleza (20/09/2025). Very good display from Cherif with Juvenil C (U17). Energetic and intense, he covered the pitch well and occupied space smartly, winning plenty of duels and recovering a lot of balls. On the ball he also looked assured, showing some brilliant technical touches. He joined the club this season from México Paracuellos. One to keep an eye on. Part of the 2009 generation.

Cooper Zachary (Cooper Zachary) is a high-IQ guard who demands very little yet provides elite floor spacing and tenacious defense. His motor is consistently high, allowing his 5'10" frame to play above his size. Despite his small size, he has a record of shutting off top guards defensively. He was highly efficient from 3 this summer (shot 52.5% on 40 3PA in Adidas 33SB play). His shooting consistency makes him one of the most bankable shooters in his class. This week, they made their stop in Louisville, and the 502 answered the call. The city packed the park, showed love, competed, and represented at a high level. Best of all, NO FOOLERY, NO DRAMA . A throwback to one of Louisville’s most iconic basketball traditions 🏀🌹🐴🐎 The Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic… one of the longest-running high school all-star games in the country, running from 1973 to 2017. Before the McDonald’s All-American Game became the national stage, this was the stage. There haven’t been many better backup’s in college basketball than St John’s 6’2 PG Dylan Darling. Darling has been a standout in Big East play for St John’s where he’s averaging 8/2/2 and a steal a game in only 19 MPG, while also shooting 55% from the field. Darling is one of the best POA defenders in college basketball with an extremely high motor on the defensive end where he’s always working to make an impact and create a two way play for his team. Darling is also a skilled offensive player who's a talented finisher, shooter, and passer. He's shooting 38% from three, 58% at the rim while also using his passing vision to find his open teammates. This season only 2 other High Major players have an AST% of 20, a STL% of 3.5 and is shooting 37% from three on 6 attempts a game per 100. Joining Tyler Tanner, and Kingston Flemings.

Belmont’s 6’3 PG Jack Smiley is one of the most intriguing non High Major Freshmen in college basketball. For the season Smiley averaged 9/2/3 on 48/44/81 splits in only 17 MPG. While being one of the best 6th men in all of college basketball. Smiley’s mix of shooting, pace, craft, passing, decision making, and finishing for his age is something that you don’t see often and he has a high ceiling. Smiley was one of the best PNR operators in the country this season where he finished the year in the 96th percentile in PNR play. Smiley’s ability to find his teammates with his vision and decision making along with his 3 level scoring helped him be a standout in the PNR. Troy 6’8 PG Victor Valdes has been one of the best mid major players in college basketball so far this season. Through his first seven games he’s averaging 17/4/4 along with 2 steals a game. He’s also been efficient with a 57% TS Valdes has a great understanding of the game and his ability to find his teammates and take good shots is one of the best in all of college basketball. Valdes is a talented PNR operator for his height who’s strong at the rim while also using his passing vision to find his teammates, he’s also a strong off ball threat. This venn diagram of skills makes him an expert “blade camera operator”, a job that involves filming with a $100k camera while on roller blades. You may have caught his footage in HBO’s fictional re-telling of the 1980s LA Lakers (“Winning Time”). The basketball scenes are lightly co-ordinated and — to keep the action as real as possible — the players just go hard for 10-15 plays in a row and they take the best footage to edit.
