Pretty unreal that the U.S. Open wound up being Rafael Nadal’s second best Grand Slam after the French Open. There were some years there were it was clear that Rafa went into that tournament fully expecting to win it and he went about doing just that similar to his FO mentality.

This feels comforting somehow.
