Lighted trees are usually expensive, especially the more realistic they are. This is not a basic tree. This is a premium model. The outrage is for clicks. They have plenty of less expensive models too.

I paid $1200 for our fake Christmas tree 23 years ago. We moved 3 years ago so I gave it away to someone else who will surely get another 10 years out of it. Think about it.

Wait until they clearance them at Walmart or Target. Trust me, I do pricing/claims at Walmart. Look for CVP label ( big yellow tag), it’s kinda like clearance but even more discounted. Also, can ask Walmart associates for that CVP label.

There are many trees at Lowes in all price points, a few under $100, a few over $100, some in the $200 range, a few in $300s, and $400s and so on, many options, looks like you can find a tree that will last many years on any budget.

They are often this price a month before Christmas. Most people wait for them to go 70% off and then buy them for the next year. If they are selling at that point, there is no reason to expect businesses to charge less.

Get a tree after Christmas when cheap and take care of it! We have had the same artificial tree for 16 years. The tree I got for about $60 ( half price) has cost us $3.75 a year, and it is 8 feet tall.

A good fake tree will last you a lifetime. Probably breaks down to $20 per year.

Lowe's employee here (the store where these trees are being sold at). People rarely buy the ones that are that high priced until we get much closer to Christmas and the price starts going down. Most people that buy one full price typically go for the ones that are $400 max.

That’s usually how much a nice one costs. Not like you’re buying a new fake tree every year unless you’re a moron. Spend less and get a real tree every year and deal with that or buy a fake one that last a decade or two

Go to Dollar Tree. 6 ft pre lit for 20 bucks. It's not about the tree anyway. Stop feeding into all these financial scams we're being served. Buy a cheap Tree, let the kids decorate while drinking hot chocolate and enjoy knowing you didn't pay 700 bucks

First of all: that isn't a basic tree. Second: $600 is normal for a middle of the road tree. Higher quality trees are over $1k, and that isn't anything new.

Well, you are paying tariffs put on other countries. Get a real one from a local tree farmer they smell better anyway.

I thought the reusable trees were a hefty investment to use over and over. My mother has a fake tree that is almost 20 years old. It has paid for itself many times over 😂🤣 I buy my real tree from a farmer and call it a day. Good luck to yall.
