Spectacular! But HOW did the scribes write that small? I guess it has to do with the price of vellum? Estimates are that 200+ sheep/lamb skins were needed to print a bible on parchment or vellum.

The oldest one I have at my desk right now is from Leipzig, 1815. A mere youngster by comparison😁 It’s a Latin textbook, written in German. “Practische Grammatik der Lateinischen Sprache”. It’s vellum too.
