747 Cargo takes off from BAE Warton Lancashire ✈️ #boeing

I filmed this myself this afternoon when it landed.. The owner of the house at the end of the runway let us stand in his garden.. 👌🏽😎

Saw that it came in over Lytham on Facebook earlier, so I took a chance I might catch it leaving.

Yeah I saw it coming over Manchester… so I phoned up everyone in Preston to keep there eyes open for it.. 🤣🤣👍

Only a matter of time before someone said "wow'.

I had no idea Warton could accommodate a 747. Many years ago, when I worked out of Preston, I had a garage customer down that back road and was always curious what was over the wall. Weirdly, I saw a One Air 747 over my house in Suffolk this morning, crystal clear at 36000ft😎

Well, they did. I have to say I’ve never seen a big jet pushed backwards like that before.

Fortunate to live next to the runway at Warton, just a shame that the lightning doesn't fly

I remember when they had a real Lightning as a model near the front gate.

I didn’t know that the runway would take a 747 it passed me by at 10,000 ft in Manchester at a total different flight path… which is very strange

It’s One Air cargo the company won a defence contract hence the arrivals at Warton recently

Wharton just down the road from me in Chorley, amazing view of aircraft’s.

It's hard to describe how impressive big aircraft are, close up. I used to have no time for them... until I saw an unloaded A380 take off and get thrown around the sky like a fighter jet (it seemed!) at Farnborough. Amazing technology. Thx for sharing this. Great vantage point.

Pardon my ignorance but what is so special about it ? Genuine question!

Warton is where Typhoons are made, so it’s not unusual to see them buzzing around. However, a 747 cargo plane is something different, at least round here.
