8 Memorable moments in fighting game history that revolve around someone doing a really long combo:

2/8 This combo (well more specifically the bug that makes it possible) completely redefined the UMVC3 meta. Funny thing is this combo should actually be longer and spend no meter, but Marlinpie chooses to swag Marlinpie is also on the 2XKO dev team! Yaaay (we're all gonna die)

3/8 Probably the only example where the combo itself is more famous than this instance of it, but if you watch any amount of high level CvS2 you'll likely see some A-Groove custom combo madness, this combo is called Paint The Fence, demonstrated by another 2XKO dev. Hi NerdJosh!

4/8 Capcom famously "removed" this combo by "buffing" Dan so that he will randomly throw an "improved" fireball that knocks the opponent down. I use air quotes because ofc Dan is the character who gets nerfed via buff to lose a genuinely broken combo, that loveable goofball!

5/8 This one caused genuine controversy and hatred, which is really sad but also lmfaooo imagine comboing a dude so hard that other dudes get mad at you for it Super Akouma you will always be famous

6/8 (Volume Warning) "But Smash isn't a fighting game!" Yes it is. Especially Melee. Accept that or get yo ass whooped. Where you at? (This tweet brought to you by every gamer over the age of 30)

7/8 Okay so this one isn't actually that famous to anybody that isn't deep under the FGC iceberg but idc because THAT WOLVERINE GOT WASTED

8/8 Sound on! In tag fighting games, hitting the point and assist character at the same time in a combo is called a "happy birthday" because your opponent gave you a gift, so make sure to optimize that punish and blow out those lifebar...candles, blow out those candles!

You are missing the point brah. These are highly optimized, skillful combos, not BNBs that take 30 seconds to delete a lifebar from a stray hit

You forgot the most important one

None of the combos in this video are longer than 10 seconds, and the length was by far the least important factor.
