genuinely curious if this helps anyone. i mean some of these principles could be helpful in some contexts but definitely not universally. feels like trying to live life in straight jacket - not the best way to attain excellence. the deeper problem is most ppl are just gonna berate themselves into conforming with these ideas. thats gonna waste a lot of energy and lead to depression for many people. its far more effective to rewire urself on a deeper level so these principles naturally fall into place where appropriate. i think thats what the idea of developing wisdom is really getting at
