🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you and your parents for your service to this country sir 🫡 Americans need to get back to the basics and our roots. @timburchett is 💯 correct!! We need to celebrate our hero’s and their accomplishments and hear the stories like this before the communist erase it. They’ve already stopped teaching it, can’t let them erase our history

Combat Disabled veterans in your state are still fighting to get our earned retirement. You could sign the discharge petition for the Major Richard Star Act today.

@GuntherEagleman I remember our neighbor from the farm next to ours running through our field waving her apron and shouting “The War is Over…The War is Over!!……

@Beardvet God bless those that sacrificed so much. It is sad our young people aren’t taught real American history.

God bless your parents and all of our veterans. They paid a high price for our freedom as did their families. A generation has been taught to hate this country through common core and critical race theory. It’s important to keep telling the true stories of America.

My step dad (The 10th Mtn Division.. I think) joined the war with his friends thinking it was safer to join the ski patrol. He was the *only* one of his friends to make it back alive. Every time he woke up he was screaming. We got used to it. It DID not define him. Best man ever.

The Greatest Generation. They gave the everything. My father also served in WWII. He was in Europe. When the war ended he was stationed in Occupational Japan. He died from cancer in 1958. WWII's Agent Orange. My mother worked for Gen MacArthur in Tokyo. She was an intelligence analyst. He sent her a Christmas card every year. He gave her an inkwell as a memento when they came back stateside. I have it.

I would like to encourage everyone to visit the National WW2 Museum in New Orleans. Plan on 2 days to absorb it all. There is a wealth of information about the war on all fronts, and is one of the very best museums I've ever visited.

Godbless you and your Dad Tim. I’m a 36 year old Navy veteran and WW1 and WW2 history is still my favorite subjects to study. I’ll forever be grateful to those who served.
