80s Dads’ life lessons were something else
10 Comments

The 80s were special! We were free-range kids. We played outside until the street lights came on. Everyone’s front door was open. And yeah, we learned lessons by getting hurt! (That’s me in “The Vineyard” half shirt!)

For those who don't know, this is from famous TV show, Titus. Titus is an American dark comedy sitcom that premiered on Fox in 2000. The show is based on Christopher Titus's stand-up comedy act, Norman Rockwell is Bleeding, which is loosely based on his family. Titus plays himself, an adult who owns a custom car shop and whose family gives new meaning to the word "dysfunctional". The show also stars Cynthia Watros as Erin, Titus's girlfriend, and Stacey Keach as his dad. Other cast members include David Shatraw, Ken Titus, Tommy Shafter, and guest stars like David Hyde Pierce and Jay Leno. Titus ran for three seasons from 2000–2002, with 54 episodes. In 2020, a two-part reunion episode was livestreamed and released in 2021 for paid download and viewing on Titus's website. It was added to YouTube on April 15, 2023.

Father & Son Bonding Time, 1980s.

Dad of the year!! LOL!

I still remember when my father thought it was a good idea to throw me deep into the sea while I didn't know how to swim. It turned out to be a good idea after all; today, I am a sailor.👀

Thanks to all the people who rescue animals..🙏

Raise your hand if you had an "80s" Dad!!! I SURE DID!! And he was the best.

Trial and error the best way to learn. Mom Teaches To Love. A Father Teaches To Survive... 😁

The life of fathers in the 80s was completely different! The life lessons they bring are beyond criticism! It can be said that it's like a treasure, right?

From the TV show Titus, if you get the chance do watch it, it's amazing.
