8Rs in Asia. Breakdown in the comments 👀

Last night during Asia, the Camarilla pivots opened narrow, signaling a move outside the range was likely. Narrow pivots don’t determine direction on their own... the position of CP is what helps establish whether a breakout or breakdown is more likely. NQ’s CP was neutral, while ES opened with a lower CP, giving the market a slightly bearish lean. I remained bullish and took the long from S3, which also aligned with a retest of the New York session open. As the trade developed, the order flow began to look weak. Bookmap showed more pressure to the downside, so instead of forcing my bullish bias, I found a level to exit at 29,492. Almost immediately after my exit, price pulled back sharply. Although price eventually continued higher, it ultimately rejected R3 after sweeping yesterday’s high... a clear liquidity grab that sent us lower through the remainder of Asia and throughout London.

Clean process. Narrow Camarilla + S3 / NY-open confluence was a valid long, even with ES CP leaning slightly lower. The 8R came from the exit, not the entry. Bookmap showing downside pressure at 29,492 while you were still net long is the exact moment most people hold for R3 and give the trade back. You took the R instead of the story. Price going higher after you flattened doesn’t invalidate it instead it swept yesterday’s high, rejected R3, and sold the rest of Asia/London. That’s the liquidity grab the narrow pivots were warning about. Holding through that would have turned an 8R into a scratch or a loser. Next useful clip: same size, same stop, posted at S3 so people can see the risk in real time, not just the P&L after the fact.
