This is where I have a slight issue, no way you can discern flavors doing that much at once or continuously, paid and insured food tasters don't come close to what 40+ "flavors" in a day or two.

it doesnt work lol. alot of the industry is boof and thats just facts. i've seen and met so many head growers and gms who have no palate whatsoever. telling me to grab this grab that and it all gets put out before the halfway point.

I wouldn't say you have to be a grower to have a good palette for terps, I would say you do need to be very meticulous and refined when it comes to describing the smoke and why it is fire 🔥

This ain’t even my arena but I’m def going with the advice of the guys who actually smoke the flower!! That’s how you find out what’s good or not. Shit I know a lot of people who just grow and don’t smoke

Bottom line is your competition is dumb, you CANNOT smoke 86 different strains and figure out which one is the best, besides the fact weed hits everyone differently, what works for you may not work for me plus what are you judging?? How high you get? How pretty it looks ?

Assuming it’s not weak weed (everyone likes different types of highs- couch lock, euphoric, etc…) we look at the overall interaction with the palate. Accurate, pure, and intense flavor translation that is smooth and soothing, and it’s the hurt so good expansion. Bag of peel aside from general tissue, health and nose really mean nothing to us unless it also smokes. Bag, appeal and nose are two of the most misleading qualities when assessing flower.

@hash_tom_ Anytime I hear fire it better get me high as giraffe pussy ..not all fire taste great nor has bag appeal... however on the rosin side of things I've had wayyyyy to much shit taste amazing look proper but have 0 medicinal effects so I can't call that "fire"

All the stuff at that level is batch to batch just cause one batch was a bad experience doesn’t mean the next batch will be bad too gotta keep trying things can’t base your opinion off one batch experience imo at least… I feel like we smoke more weed thats “OK” then those unicorn batches that we see every now and then…
